How to download reports

Open your Woodpecker account and navigate to Deliverability Tab → Reports.

You can choose from which period you’d like to download the report: Today, Yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, or select a custom date range.

Example: We downloaded the reports today afternoon, March 22nd. Here are the dates the reports cover:

  • Today – data from March 22nd, from midnight to the hour the report was downloaded,

  • Yesterday – from 2023-03-21, 00:00 until 2023-03-21, 23:59.
In the report, you can see the statistics for the whole day yesterday.

  • Last 7 days – we return data for 7 days from today. From 2023-03-15, 00:00 until 2023-03-22, 00:00, last 7 days (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) without today's statistics.

  • Last 30 days – we return data for 30 days from today (analogous to the report for the last 7 days).

  • Custom date range (you can select a date range of up to 3 months)

To download the file, click the icon next to the corresponding report.

Each report type is divided into 4 categories:

  • General statistics per campaign

  • Number of messages sent from each level in campaigns

  • Open rate per campaign

  • Complete statistics for each level of campaign

How to read your CSV report?

On top of the file, you can find the type of statistics you've downloaded and the corresponding date (YYYY-MM-DD), for example, open_rate_by_campaign_2023-03-20-2023-03-27.

I. General statistics per campaign

This report will give you an overview of your campaign's performance, presenting basic statistics, like the number of sent messages, and how many of them were bounced or opened.

It shows the number of contacted prospects in a given period, i.e. a given prospect will be counted once despite sending more emails.

Here you'll also check your open – or click rate, prospects' statuses, or interest level.

Here's an example:

II. Number of messages sent from each level in campaigns

This report will show how many messages in each campaign's level (Email #1, Email #2,...) were sent within a particular time (day, week, month).

III. Open rate per campaign

This report focuses on opens. Check which emails have been sent and delivered to your prospect and what was their open rate.

IV. Complete statistics for each level of campaign

This report focuses on general statistics with per-step granulation (number of messages sent from each level in the campaign). It also has information on each client under the Agency and the details of their campaigns.

Deliverability Monitor reports

If you want to generate even more detailed reports, ones that have information about a specific campaign, you can do it from the Deliverability monitor.

Simply choose an email account the campaign was sent from, the name of the campaign, and the period that you want the report to cover. All that is left to do is to export data shown by our app to the CSV or PDF file.

Summary emails

Right under the list of different types of reports, you'll find the option to turn on the "Summary emails". These emails contain summary information from your account as a whole, including the sum of emails sent, opened messages, and replies.

You'll receive such an email on Monday for the entire previous week. You will also be able to download the report in CSV file, directly through the link included in the message.

FAQ

Q: What is CSV?

CSV stands for Comma-separated value. CSV file format uses a comma as a field separator and a new line as a new data record. Woodpecker uses CSV files to import and export the data. You can export your sheet to the CSV file from any web or desktop sheet editor.

Q: Is it possible to get an automated daily CSV report from email statistics?

At the moment it isn't possible. We're working on this feature though! Downloading archived data from the App is also disabled.
