When adding an email account to the warm-up, you’ll be asked to fill in some fields with your first and last name, along with an App password.

Note: The App password is not the same as the password with which you log into your Google account!

If you’re connecting a Google Workspace account, here’s what you need to do.

  1. Enable IMAP access for your Google account

Head to the settings of your Gmail account and click on the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab. In IMAP access, choose to enable IMAP.

2. 2-Step Verification

In your Google Account, head to the Security tab. Select “2-Step Verification” under “How you sign in to Google,” and follow the instructions there.

3. Create App Password

After 2-Step Verification is enabled, you can create an App password. Go to the App Passwords section under the 2-Step Verification page in your Google Accounts.

In order to get an App password, you’ll need to type the name of the app. In the case of Mailivery, you can name it as such and click the “Create” button.

After receiving the App password, you can copy it, enter it in Woodpecker, and confirm adding the warm-up.
