Woodpecker Prospects revolutionizes the way businesses approach B2B prospecting and outreach. At its core, it features a user-friendly Chrome Extension, which is a tool for gathering prospects directly from LinkedIn. This extension is designed for efficiency, allowing you to easily identify and select potential leads as you navigate through LinkedIn profiles.

Complementing the Chrome Extension is the intuitive Prospects Dashboard. This centralized platform offers a streamlined experience for managing your chosen prospects. Here, you can organize, review, and prioritize leads, ensuring a targeted approach to your outreach strategies.

Step 1: Creating an account

Get started with Woodpecker Prospects by creating an account. It's a simple and free process accessible at Woodpecker Prospects Sign Up. If you're an existing user of Woodpecker products, you can conveniently use the same credentials for Woodpecker Prospects.

Upon registering, you'll be directed to the Woodpecker Prospects Dashboard, the heart of your prospect management. This intuitive dashboard allows for easy monitoring and organization of your prospects, setting you up for efficient prospecting.

Step 2: Downloading Chrome Extension

To add prospects directly from LinkedIn to the Dashboard, you'll need to install our Chrome extension. This extension is readily available in the Chrome Web Store, and there are two ways to access it:

  • by clicking the “Download Extension” button,

  • by visiting this link.

Once you open Woodpecker Prospects in the Chrome Store, you only need to click the “Add to Chrome” button to install it.

Step 3: Quick start on LinkedIn

After opening LinkedIn, the Chrome Extension will automatically appear in the top right corner of your browser window. Clicking on it will expand the full extension.

For convenience, we've added several basic links to the "Pinned Extension" view. From here, you can also enable the "Auto Expand Plugin," which will automatically activate the extension when navigating through various LinkedIn tabs.

In the first view of the extension, you'll find several hints about where to look for prospects. You can go directly to the "Search Results" page or open the profile of a selected person.

Step 4: Adding prospects to the list

Adding multiple prospects is straightforward: initiate by exploring the "Search Results" on LinkedIn for potential leads. Apply the necessary filters to fine-tune your search. Then, select the individuals you're interested in by using the checkboxes available either in the LinkedIn results or through our Extension, marking them for addition to your prospect list.

To initiate the email discovery process for your selected prospects, you must first add them to a designated list. Upon selecting your prospects using checkboxes, decide whether to place them in an existing list or create a new one. Creating a new list is as simple as typing in a desired name, with a prompt appearing if the name is already in use.

The concluding action involves clicking the “Save Selected” button. This button conveniently displays a tally of the prospects you've opted to include, giving you a quick overview of your selections.

On your initial search, a confirmation popup will appear. You have the option to select the “Don’t show again” checkbox to prevent this popup from appearing in future searches.

Once you click “Save” after making your selections, the system begins retrieving email addresses for these individuals. The outcomes of this search are accessible in both the Extension and Dashboard. Prospects previously selected will be marked with two labels for easy tracking: "Saved" for those you've added to your lists and a label indicating the email verification status, such as "Verified" or "Not Verified."

This approach also applies when viewing an individual's LinkedIn profile, offering a more specific method to add prospects. As you explore profiles, you can use the extension to add people to an existing or new list individually. This method mirrors the process used in the "Search Results" view and is as straightforward.

Step 5: Importing to Woodpecker Cold Email

Once completing your prospect research, you'll be set to import your list directly into Woodpecker Cold Email. This is done by downloading a CSV file of your prospects from the dashboard and then importing it into your campaign.

You can easily download the entire list by clicking the “Download to CSV” button in the Actions column.

Alternatively, you can select specific prospects from your list for targeted actions. Open the list you want to work with, choose the desired prospects, and click “Download to CSV” in the Actions bar. This feature allows for more selective and focused data handling, enabling you to manage and export only the prospects you need.
