If you're familiar with Woodpecker’s Manual tasks and our mobile app, the Aircall integration should make things easier for you. Although it’s an integration, you don’t have to purchase the API Keys & Integrations add-on from Marketplace.
Please note: Aircall works only in the Chrome browser.
Setup in Woodpecker
Head to the Marketplace → Integrations, and find Aircall. Click on the button to enable the integration.
In the campaign edit mode, create a manual task with the call option. There’s no need to connect the Aircall account to the task, as each one will have the iframe link enabled in it.
Remember that you must have your prospects' phone numbers in the database so that they are automatically added to the iframe.
Once the campaign is running and the tasks are queued in the “Tasks” tab, you can call the prospects from there. Click on the phone icon, and an iframe will appear.
For everything to work properly, you’ll have to give your browser access to the microphone.
The prospect’s number will be visible at the top of the window, and just right above the call icon, there’s an option to change the number/account from which you’re calling.
The iframe lets you check the to-do list, the history of calls, and your saved contacts.
If a prospect replies to the call and the conversation lasts at least 20 seconds, their status will be automatically changed to “Responded” – we’re assuming there was a conversation with a real person and not a bot.
Regardless of the prospect's status change, the task must be marked as done (or ignored) by you, so you have control over what happens in your campaign.
FAQ
Q.: What will Aircall do when I input the phone number separated by hyphens?
Aircall will remove the hyphens, and you will be able to make a call.
Q.: What country code will be added by default when I don't enter it in the Prospects table?
This is likely to be the country number of the country in which the number was registered with Aircall.
Q.: Can I call a prospect with a “Responded” status?
Yes. The connection lock appears only after the task is marked as done in the “Tasks” tab.
